The Working Poets have come a long way baby! What started out in 2006 as two people, Rob McLeod and Kevin O'Neal, meeting each other for the first time and at the suggestions of some family and friends, getting together in a public venue, just to sing a song or two, has turned into the recognizable and four part harmony sounds of
The Working Poets Having four part harmony is just one key that makes
The Working Poets stand out from the rest. The addition of Michael Cappetta in 2007 and Bill Crane in 2013 has lead
The Working Poets to become one of the most sought after and best bands in the Southern California music business playing music that any one, any age can enjoy!

The Working Poets play songs from, The Eagles, The Beatles, Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Doobie Brothers, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and ZZ Top. Wild Cherry, The Commodores, Kool and The Gang, and even KC and the Sunshine Band. 80's music like Tommy Tutone, Robert Palmer, and The Romantics. 50’s and 60’s Classics like Elvis Presley, Bill Haley and the Comets, Del Shannon and Richie Valens. New Country from Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, and Toby Keith, to Classic Country like Freddie Fender, Johnny Cash, and Jimmy Buffett! There is something for EVERYONE!!

The Working Poets are professional, easy going, hard workers, who love performing and with this group, you don't just get a band playing music, you get a show! "The Working Poets" in the last 9 years have played close to 1000 shows and will definitely add to that number with shows in the planning stages for 2016!

With tons of fans already, The Working Poets still love to make new friends who want to embrace their talent and their music! It's always great to see all the people dancing and singing along with the band! "It never gets old," says, Working Poets Bass Player, Michael Cappetta,"and we wouldn't have it any other way!"
